Fantasic job, quick turnaround and Jason managed the team very well on site. We now have a great space which has become our master bedroom and ensuite bathroom. This has given us the spare room we desired and already benefitted when our various family turn up to stay, having previously had to juggle our sleeping arrangements with me usually ending up on floor. We love the juliette balcony and doors, the natural light, freshair and cooling this provides to us is glorious. Now it is decorated and furnished it is hard to imagine how we managed previously. Just want to say thankyou, there were no unexpected surprises and you gave us exactly what we discussed at our intial consultation. Every workman who has been to the house and worked on the loft conversion has been both friendly and professional. We are extremely satisfied with the work carried out. Adam and Alfie are the nicest workmen we've ever had around to the house: very hard working, friendly, and professional. We would have no hesitation in recommending Charles Jeffrey to anyone considering a loft conversion. I have, in the past, been told how messy a loft conversion is, but Adam and Alfie made every effort to reduce mess and worked in a tidy manner throughout. They also made every effort to maximise the space available, giving professional advice, and are very conscientious workers. They should be, and I know that they are, very proud of their work. We also enjoyed their singing and camaraderie, and so did my neighbours! Also time keeping was excellent and so was the flow of the work. S & DJ. Enfield

From my intial enquiry to the finished job I was dealt with in a professional manner and was advised and informed all the way, this was particularly important to me as my wife and I hadn't done anything like this before we were thrilled with the outcomeand got more than expected. An excellent service from Charles Jeffrey, nothing was a problem. All obstacles were overcome efficiently and positively even my neighbour is considering having a loft conversion with Charles Jeffrey as she is so impressed with the quality care and attention to detail taken by the workforce. I have to say that when viewing the company website I was not mislead in anyway as to what I should expect, Hilary kept us informed and was able to answer any questions along the way. Highly recommend if you are considering a loft conversion.

Outstanding service from start to finish. Staff polite and sensitive to our needs. Could not fault this company in any way and would not hesitate to reccommend a loft build to anybody after seeing the finished loft conversion. The french doors make us feel as though we are in a luxury hotel room! My husband and I are over the moon with what feels like a completely new home thanks to Charles Jeffrey and his team. Many thanks to the competent office staff especially Hillary who kept us informed along the way.

Charles Jeffrey are the best. In the past it has been awful experience when the builders have been in our house. Not so with Charles Jeffrey, workers always polite and kept any disruption to a minimum. The finished loft is just great and we love it. Think anybody would be hard pressed to find a loft conversion company who have as much attention to detail. A big heartfelt thanks from all our family.

I did loads of research before deciding on Charles Jeffrey to build our loft conversion and having now had my loft completed im in no doubt that I made the right decision in selecting them. The whole job from start to finish was carried out with total professionalism and all work has been finished to a really high standard. The staff both in the office and on the project were very helpful and communicative and were able to accomodate every request along the way. Highly recommended. Pete - Enfield

We loved the courtesy and professionalism shown throughout, even when problems arose which were outside their control. The layout chosen and the workmanship were excellent. We wish we'd had the remaining original roof tiling renewed at the same time. And maybe we should have waited another month before we had the shower-room tiling done. That's just a pointer for people planning on having a loft conversion done. I can unreservedly recommend CJ

Charles Jeffrey was highly recommended to me by two people and I am pleased to say that the company lived up to their name. I was particularly pleased that my adaptations to the design and my concerns were always willingly received and heard. The team that built my loft were completely trustworthy and any qualms I had about disturbance and disarray soon disappeared; it was a pleasure to have them working in the house. All my visitors have commented on the high standard of the workmanship.

I can strongly recommend this company. We have now had two loft conversions from Charles Jeffrey. Each has been superb in quality and workmanship. The work started exactly on schedule, and most importantly, finished on time. All the planning and approvals were handled efficiently and quickly. Jeff pays attention to the smallest details and every part of the work was done by a specialist tradesman. The work proceeded so quietly and efficiently, we didn't even know they were there. We now have a beautiful fourth bedroom with a Juliet balcony, and with a fabulous ensuite bathroom. After sales service is excellent. If I need a third loft, I will definitely be calling on Charles Jeffrey again.

I would highly recommend Charles Jeffrey Ltd. Not only was the whole process stress free (done professionally, cleanly & quickly), I now have a loft conversion that I could not be more pleased with. It has been built to a high standard, looks fantastic and is exactly how I wanted it. There is not one thing that I would change.

February 21 2011 We had our loft conversion finished by Charles Jeffrey a short while ago and simply its fantastic.Right from the start Jeff organised all the paperwork,drawings etc; and within five weeks our loft was completed.We would like to thank Jeff, Hilary so friendly and helpful and our workmen the roofers, plumbers and the electrician whose work was of the highest quality. Our special thanks goes to our team of Matt and Mark top guys who always kept us informed of what was happening and helped with a few changes that gave us a quality loft with a Juliet balcony overlooking the park. If you want a quality loft conversion then look no further than Charles Jeffrey. Once again many thanks John and Lesley.

18.2.11 Very happy - We chose to have a loft conversion instead of moving house (moving costs were one issue). The actual conversion was completed in four weeks and we are very happy with the finished product. We had some admin issues at the beginning but Charles Jeffrey solved them for us swiftly. The team that were assigned to us were informative, friendly and hard working. They were working in very cold conditions but just got on with it. The paperwork/designs were very clear and the lady in the office was always friendly and responsive to any problems we had.

To the extremely prompt and effective aftercare of sorting out any adjustments. They really do look after you. A smooth pre-planned operation took place, with a main team always present and other specialists coming to complete their tasks. So pleased that we went for it ... and with Charles Jeffrey Ltd. Highly recommended.

I used Charles Jeffrey for my loft conversion and I couldn't have been happier. I was very dubious about taking on such a large project and after having some bad experiences in the past with builders I was worried to say the least. However, Charles Jeffrey and the team made it almost a pleasurable experience! They were punctual, polite and totally reliable. The quality of their work is outstanding - from the build to the finishing touches. The team ensured I was kept totally up to date with the loft's progress and I was always informed of what was going on and how it was all coming together. A large project was made so easy really - I didn't have to do anything, and having such a nice team working in my house made it even better. We were totally thrilled with our new build - it really is lovely. If I had to do it again - I wouldn't hesitate in using them again. Highly recommend them for anyone wanting to build a loft conversion.

Thank You all at Charles Jeffrey We have nothing but praise for this company. In the past having the builders in proved stressful. Not with Charles Jeffrey! From the first visit through to completion they have been first class, and we are thoroughly delighted with our new loft conversion. Highly recommended.

Hope you are well. My studio loft is looking good - flooring down - wardrobes installed - I have some finishing off to do.
Russdales of Winchmore Hill fitted the flooring for me and they are a member of the UK Trades Confederation. I need to fill in a feedback form to comment on their efficiency, standard of work etc... I am being asked to recommend another company and wondered if I should put down Charles Jeffrey as a company 'which works to a high degree of quality and professionalism'?
I await your response as to whether this is appropriate.

Hi Jeff,
My apologies for not getting back to you sooner but the loft conversion is virtually completed. The plumbers are going to smoothen out a few things like taking care of a minor leak in the face basin as well as capping off the sewage line vent which they could now get to after the scafolding was adjusted on Saturday. I've already signed off the completion of the construction part and the building inspector has already visited. I believe he would probably visit again once these minor adjustments are made.
I'm not sure about the next stage but I've made arrangements for a decorator recommended by Darren from CJ to advise/quote on painting and I believe tiling of the bathroom.
While all has gone smoothly from what everyone has said and what I can see, I and the family have been trying to recovery from the loss of xxxxx and it is extremely difficult to focus on other matters at the moment. The Charles Jeffrey team has been very sensitive and supportive throughout the whole project and I can't thank them enough for giving us time and space when we needed it and yet still delivery the loft within the time promised. Even though xxxxx never asked for much I know she would have been so pleased to see the amazing work you all did and she would have loved the room, I just know it...
My warmest thanks and appreciation to you and your team especially Darren, Charlie, Rob and Tony, they are really great guys to have in your corner, respectful, conscientious, skillful and all round good people to deal with.
